Groomer claims win 16 in Sasser Motorsports No. 11 Super Stock

Derek Groomer visited Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Friday afternoon to pilot the Sasser Motorsports No. 11 Super Stock for the annual FunFest.

With 28 cars entered, Groomer secured his spot into his preliminary feature with a heat race win. After tracking down the leader and sneaking ahead to assume command of the top spot, Groomer was spun around, dropping him to the tail. He rounded to finish second.

On Saturday, Derek charged to his 16th win of the season in the feature, which came ahead of Mike Fields, Greg Amick, Zach Sasser, and Austin Perry.
