Groomer scores Top-5 finish in first Super Late Model start of season at Brownstown Speedway
Breaking out his No. 48 Super Late Model for the first time in 2024, Derek Groomer joined a large 41-car field at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for the Northern Allstars-sanctioned Hall of Fame Classic.
Stopping the clock fourth-quickest in his group, Groomer moved passed the pole sitter in his heat race for the victory. Rolling off from the second-row in the $10,000-to-win main event, Derek landed a Top-5 outing with a fourth-place finish.
