Derek Groomer finds victory lane at Paragon Speedway in Modified division
Primed for a doubleheader at the track, Derek Groomer unloaded his No. 48 Crate Late Model at Paragon (Ind.) Speedway on Friday for night one of two.
Charging from fourth-to-first in his heat race, Groomer started on the pole of the 20-lap feature but fell to third when the checkered flag flew.
Pulling out his No. 48 Modified on Saturday evening, Derek started the A-Main from the front-row and took the lead from the drop of the green flag. Leading all 20 laps, Groomer picked up his third Modified victory of the season.
